Addon File for Covert Strike Posted by admin on 06/30/08 The first thing that needs to be noted about the various addon files is that they must be placed into your "system folder" (the game's main directory).  Once you install the addon files, you will need to launch the game and click on "Multiplayer" and the new items should appear.  You may then select and use these new weapons and equipment freely in multiplayer matches.  Your stats will be tracked for any new weapons.  At the end of each match, they will be added to your total stats – just as if you used a standard weapon.   The items included in the addon files are: • All Silenced Pistols - these are not unlocked until Level 3 because they are not standard issue for any unit. • All Underwater Weapons - this includes 4 different weapons that can only be used under water (the handguns cannot fire underwater). • All Underwater Equipment - this includes 2 new pieces of equipment that can only be used under water.  Note that the oxygen tank is also used on land, by holding space while running. • All Flashbang Grenades - these are unlocked at Level 1. • All Stun Grenades - these are unlocked at Level 2. • All HE Grenades - these are unlocked at Level 3. There are also various changes to the game itself, including: • Reload Speed Increased (the rate of fire is increased with each weapon upgrade).  Some weapons with slow rate of fire increase almost as much as their rate of fire is increased with the upgrade (i.e. a 9mm pistol that did a max of 1362 with a level 1 upgrade does a max of 1359 with a level 2 upgrade). • Auto-aim - this feature is disabled for the weapons that can use it (the  P90, M4, 12G, T56 Rifle etc).  All other weapons have their auto-aim disabled with each upgrade. • Spread Shot - this is used by all factions. • Suppressor - this reduces the sound by 25%. Each weapon has different base stats which are modified with upgrades.  If you click on the weapon in the game, you will see two numbers at the bottom right of the screen – these are your current statistics. eccc085e13
